Every Woman Should Know...how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

Things are going well here on the home front. I woke up at 4:30 this morning wide awake and my first thought was "this is really happening". It just finally hit me. I seemed to do everything and look at everything in a different way today.

We all have our bad weeks and last week left me stressed and emotionally exhausted. My friend just happened to send me Maya Anglou's "A Woman Should Have...". In it she list's several things she believes every woman should have, they are all fantastic, but there are a couple in particular that I could really relate to right now:

"EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... where to go... be it to her best friend's kitchen table...or a charming inn in the woods...when her soul needs soothing..." I have said in the past that my Father's and Mother's homes are the place for me to go when my soul needs soothing. Spending last weekend at my Mother's house and spending time with my Dad gave me everything I needed to get back on track.

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD HAVE... "one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry... " I have always felt fortunate to have so many wonderful friends but now I know how truly blessed I am. So many of our friends have shown unbelievable interest in our lives right now and have been great shoulders to lean on and our best supporters.

It is very common for me to put myself in the place of feeling over whelmed with all that needs to "get done". So my mantra for now will be; "EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...what she can and can't accomplish in a day... a month...and a year..."
